Publication Ethics

The publication ethics of the Journal of Digital Innovation and Social Research (JDISR) are based on the Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Duties of Authors

• Originality: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original works.
• Plagiarism: Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is strictly unacceptable.
• Multiple Publication: An author should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal concurrently.

Duties of Editors

• Fair Play: Editors evaluate manuscripts solely for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
• Confidentiality: Editors and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, and other editorial advisers.
