Journal of Digital Innovation and Social Research (JDISR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on the intersection of digital technology, social dynamics, and theological development. The journal is published semi-annually (June and December). We publish original research findings on digital innovation within faith contexts, socio-theological research, digital theology, contemporary religious studies, as well as Christian theology and religious education in the digital age.
The journal welcomes manuscript submissions in the following areas:

Digital Innovation in Faith & Social Contexts: Focuses on digital communication for religious institutions, the implementation of information technology within socio-theological frameworks, and digital multimedia solutions for community building.

Socio-Theological Research & Society: Focuses on the sociology of digital religion, faith-based community development, and the socio-cultural impacts of digital transformation on modern religious societies.

Digital Theology & Religious Studies: Focuses on contemporary religious studies, digital ministry, theological reflections on technological advancements, and the role of digital transformation within religious institutions.

Education & Digital Religious Learning: Focuses on digital pedagogy, educational technology, learning innovations in the digital age, and contemporary developments in religious education (including Christian education, theology, and governance of religious educational institutions).

Community Service & Digital Empowerment: Focuses on the implementation of digital innovations in community service programs, technology training for religious communities and social institutions, faith-based community empowerment, and community assistance strategies in the digital era.
Current Issue
Marking five years of dedication to scholarly publishing, Journal of Digital Innovation and Social Research (JDISR) is proud to release Volume 5 Number 1, June 2026. This first lustrum edition manifests our consistency in capturing the increasingly complex developments of the digital ecosystem. The primary focus of this issue includes the integration of Advanced AI within social structures, the digital circular economy, and privacy protection in the era of global connectivity. We observe a significant enhancement in methodological standards and theoretical contributions from cross-institutional authors in this edition. We extend our deepest gratitude to the editorial board, peer reviewers, and researchers who have made JDISR a strategic partner in disseminating digital innovation and social research over the past half-decade.
