The debate regarding the effectiveness of digital Bibles (smartphones) versus print Bibles in youth ministry is often based on assumptions without empirical data. This study aims to quantitatively measure the impact of reading medium on scripture memory retention among adolescents. Using a Quasi-Experimental Design, the study involved 20 church youth respondents (aged 18-24) divided into two groups: Group A (Print Bible) and Group B (Digital App). The test instrument used the Cloze Test method after a 15-minute memorization session. Data analysis was performed using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed the mean score for the Print Group was 83.5, while the Digital Group was 66.0. With the t-value (4.32) > t-table (2.101), the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This study statistically proves that print Bibles provide stronger "spatial memory anchors" compared to the scrolling nature of digital screens. The findings recommend that churches maintain the use of physical Bibles in catechism and intensive discipleship curricula.
