Closing the 2025 publication series, Journal of Digital Innovation and Social Research (JDISR) is proud to present Volume 4 Number 2, December 2025. This issue marks a significant milestone in our four-year journey as a platform for disseminating digital and social research. The primary focus of this edition covers future digital ecosystem transformation, data sovereignty, and the social impacts of immersive technologies and automation. We have observed significant growth in contributor diversity, which now includes increasingly broad cross-institutional collaborations. We extend our sincere gratitude to the authors, peer reviewers, and the editorial board for their outstanding dedication to maintaining JDISR’s scholarly quality.
